Programs that strengthen belonging, wellbeing, and opportunity.
We support Black and marginalized girls in the Greater Toronto Area through school and community programs that build confidence, strengthen relationships, and open doors to new possibilities.
School Programs
We work with schools to create supportive spaces where girls explore identity, build confidence, strengthen peer relationships, and develop skills for school and everyday life.
Community & Mentorship
Through group activities, events, and mentorship, girls connect with peers and role models who offer encouragement, share experiences, and help them explore their goals.
Leadership & Future Skills
We create opportunities for girls to practise leadership, contribute their ideas, and explore technology, entrepreneurship, and pathways into further learning and work.
Find your space to grow.
Our programs support girls at different stages of their journeys, bringing together practical learning, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to be heard.
G.I.R.L.s Programs
A supportive after-school space where girls explore identity, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and leadership. Through guided conversations and group activities, participants build confidence and connections that support their experiences at school and beyond.
Roots of a Girl
A workshop series that helps girls explore who they are, recognize their strengths, and build a sense of belonging. Sessions create room for honest conversations about identity, self-worth, and the experiences shaping their lives.
Mentorship & Connection
Opportunities to connect with women from different backgrounds and professions, ask questions, and explore possibilities for the future. Our approach centres relationships, encouragement, and shared learning.
Summer Program
A summer experience where girls connect, discover interests, and build skills through creative and hands-on activities. Each edition explores selected themes from our programming pillars.
Ambassador Program
Girls contribute ideas, help inform our programs, and build leadership skills through participation and advocacy. The program creates opportunities for girls to influence the work designed to support them.
Power Talks Podcast
Conversations that centre girls’ voices and experiences. Through storytelling and discussion, Power Talks explores identity, wellbeing, relationships, leadership, and navigating a changing world.
Ask about current opportunities
Programs are free for girls aged 12-20 in the GTHA. Locations and dates change through the year, so tell us where you are and we’ll let you know what’s coming up.
Supporting the whole girl
Girls’ experiences at school, at home, online, and in their communities are connected. Our programs bring together four areas of support to help girls grow with confidence.
Personal Development
Exploring identity, building self-esteem, setting goals, and developing the confidence to make decisions and speak up.
Mental Health & Wellness
Creating space to express emotions, explore coping strategies, and build supportive relationships through conversation and creative activities.
Mentorship
Building connections with peers and role models who share experiences, offer encouragement, and broaden possibilities.
Technology & Entrepreneurship
Building digital knowledge, encouraging creative problem-solving, and introducing practical skills for future learning and work.

Girls' experiences guide our work
We listen to girls, build relationships that support their growth, and use what we learn to strengthen our programs. Their voices help shape both what we deliver and how we deliver it.
