Power to Girls Ghana
Power to Girls Foundation Ghana works with schools and communities in Greater Accra Region to support girls’ education, wellbeing, and leadership. Through mentorship, practical learning, and spaces for honest conversation, we help girls build confidence, access support, and explore their possibilities.
Supporting girls.Strengthening communities
A girl’s opportunities should not be limited by her circumstances. Our work addresses barriers to participation from limited access to mentors and menstrual-health resources to a lack of spaces where girls can speak openly and be heard. We bring girls, educators, mentors, and community partners together to support girls’ growth and create opportunities for them to lead.
In-School Programs
Regular sessions that give girls space to explore identity, self-esteem, healthy relationships, mental wellbeing, and leadership. Through guided discussions and activities, girls build practical skills and supportive connections.
Power of Sport
Using sport to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership. Girls develop skills, strengthen peer relationships, and challenge expectations about where they belong and what they can achieve.
The Flow Project
Supporting menstrual health and dignity through education, access to menstrual products, and improvements to school washroom facilities. Since 2024 we've reached 2000 girls across 20 schools in Ghana, and The Flow Project has distributed 5000 + menstrual kits and has upgraded 2 school washrooms.
Entrepreneurship & Skills Development
Practical learning that introduces girls to entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, and financial literacy. Participants explore ideas, learn from entrepreneurs, and develop skills to help turn their interests into opportunities.

Power of a Girl Conference
A gathering that brings girls together for learning, mentorship, and conversations about issues affecting their lives. Held in recognition of International Day of the Girl, the conference creates opportunities to connect with role models, share experiences, and explore new possibilities.

Power Talks Podcast
Power Talks Ghana creates space for girls to speak openly about the experiences shaping their lives. Through conversations with peers, mentors, and guests, we explore identity, mental wellbeing, relationships, menstrual health, education, and leadership. By centring girls’ perspectives, Power Talks encourages dialogue on topics too often left unspoken—helping girls feel heard, ask questions, and discover new possibilities.

My Power App
Through My Power App, girls can access learning resources, mentorship opportunities and support beyond in-person sessions. The app includes Ora, an AI "big sister" that offers non-clinical information on wellbeing, relationships and digital safety. Ora isn't a counsellor; when a girl needs more help, it points her to a trusted adult or support service. The platform includes Ora, an AI Big Sister assistant offering non-clinical information and guidance on topics such as wellbeing, relationships, and digital safety.
Connection beyond the sessions.
Connection beyond the classroom. Events, conversations and digital tools that keep girls connected between sessions.
